Problem: Stair Step Crack.
This type of crack is caused by ground water getting under a footer, which takes dirt away from the footer. This causes the footer to settle and shift the wall, causing mortar joints to crack.
Solution:
An All-Dry drainage system will keep water flowing away from the footer.
Problem: Ground Water
Ground water is the name for water that accumulated in the original hole that was dug during construction for the foundation of your home. The more rain we receive, the more the ground water rises and causes hydrostatic pressure on the floor and footings. When this happens, water enters at the basement joints where the floor and wall meet.
Solution:
A customized All-Dry drainage system that is installed along the footers will help reduce hydrostatic pressure.
Problem: Surface Water
Surface water can enter the walls of a foundation through cracks or porous blocks. This water can cause mold, mildew, cracks, white powder on the walls, discolored walls, stains and peeling paint.
Solution
All-Dry can customize an outside drainage system that runs along the outside of the walls to help surface water flow away from the house.
